Sweet mango pickle

Method
  1. Boil the mustard oil and keep aside to cool.
  2. Marinate the mango pieces with turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Keep overnight, remove the water and dry in sunshine or under fan.
  4. Take a bowl, add the mango pieces, spicesa jaggery and mix well.
  5. Add the oil and store in a jar.
  6. It is ready within a month and lasts for a long time.
Ingredients:
500g - raw mango pieces
100g - mustard oil
1 tbsp - saunf powder
2 tbsp - mustard daal
1/2 tsp - kalonji
1/2 tsp - methi seeds
50g grated jaggery
3 tbsp - red chillipowder
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1 tsp - asafoetida
20g - salt
