Method
Roast red chillies and sesame seeds with 2 tsp of oil.
Grind them with chana, tamarind and salt, adding some water.
Heat remaining oil in a small fry pan.
Add mustard seeds.
When they splutter, add dal.
When it is brown, add curry leaves.
Add this seasoning to chutney.

white sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
