Chana Chutney

Method
  1. Roast red chillies and sesame seeds with 2 tsp of oil.
  2. Grind them with chana, tamarind and salt, adding some water.
  3. Heat remaining oil in a small fry pan.
  4. Add mustard seeds.
  5. When they splutter, add dal.
  6. When it is brown, add curry leaves.
  7. Add this seasoning to chutney.
Ingredients:
cooked white chana - 1 cup
dried red chillies - 3 to 4
white sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
tamarind - � tsp
oil - 2 tbsp
mustard - 1 tsp
black gram (urad) dal - 1 tsp
curry leaves - a few
salt to taste
