Green Tomato Chutney

Method
  1. Cut the green tomatoes in big chunks.
  2. In a frying pan, add oil.
  3. Add chillies, karepak and tomatoes.
  4. Fry till they are cooked.
  5. Tomatoes should get soft.
  6. Switch off the gas and allow it to cool.
  7. Once cooled, add this in a blender along with jaggery, salt and roasted groundnuts.
  8. You can substitute channa dal in place of groundnuts if you wish.
  9. Grind it without any water.
  10. Heat some mustard seeds in another kadai and add this to the chutney.
  11. Can be eaten with rice or roti.
Ingredients:
2 - big green tomatoes
2 - green chillies
a small lemon sized - jaggery
1 tbsp - roasted groundnuts or 2 tbsp - channa dal
1 tsp - mustard seeds
a few karepak leaves
2 tbsp - oil
salt to taste
