Dry roast Toor dal in kadai till golder brown
Take little oil and fry Red chillies, udad dal and jeera 1/2 spoon till golder brown and add curry leaves at the end.
Grind roasted Toor dal with little water. When half done add fried red chillies and left over jeera, salt and grind to smooth paste (you will get good aroma).
Remove and add the remaining part of vide no.2
Fry few pods of garlic (after removing skin) and add to the chutney. It tastes great !
Suggestions
This chutney is easy to make and the ingredients are always available at home so very easy to make. This chutney goes well with rice with ghee (chutney should be thick). You can take the same chutney with idli, dosa or any snak but for that add more water to make little thin and you can grind the garlic along with chutney.
