Potato Onion Curry

Method
  1. Boil the potatoes.
  2. Peel off the skin and cut into small pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai .
  4. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  5. Add dry chilli, and saute the onions.
  6. Add the tomatoes, peas, turmeric powder, asafetida and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Now add the potatoes and cook for another 3 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with rice.
  9. This also goes well with chappathis and puris.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg - potato
1 cup - finely chopped onion
1/2 cup - finely chopped tomato
1/2 cup - boiled peas
1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
4 - dry chilli
1 tsp - turmeric powder
A pinch of asafoetida
1 tbsp - oil
Salt to taste
