Method
  1. Extract and boil tamarind for 10 minutes.
  2. Roast chilli, dhaniya, besan, coconut in some oil and grind to a paste and add to tamarind extract. Let it boil for some time.
  3. After 2 boils add jaggery. Allow it to thicken.
  4. Boil the vegetable until tender and add it to the gravy.
  5. Add some fried coconut. Season with mustard.
  6. Add curry leaves and serve hot
Ingredients:
2 tsp - dhaniya
2 tsp - besan
8 - red chilli
2 tsp - coconut
Asafoetida, a pinch
2 cups - tamarind extract
Jaggery, a chunk
1 cup - snakegourd/cluster beans
