Method
  1. Grind khuskhus to a fine powder without adding water.
  2. Soak almonds and cashewnuts for 2 hours and grind to a paste adding little water.
  3. Wash pudina leaves and green chilli and grind to a paste.
  4. Cut paneer to half inch cubes and soak in hot water for half an hour covered.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai and saute onion pieces till light brown. Keep the flame on low to medium.
  6. Add garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  7. Add ginger paste and saute for half a minute.
  8. Add red chilli powder, amchur powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
  9. Add cashew and almond paste. Mix well.
  10. Also add khuskhus paste and mix well.
  11. Add curds and saute for a minute.
  12. Add pudina and green chillies paste and saute for a minute.
  13. Add salt to taste.
  14. Now add paneer pieces and cook covered for two minutes.
  15. Put off the flame and add lemon juice just before serving.
  16. Eat this curry with rotis or puris.

200 g - paneer
2 cups - pudina leaves
1 cup - onion (finely chopped)
1 cup - curd
7 - (whole) almonds
6 (small) - green chilli
5 - (whole) cashewnuts
2 tbsp - oil
1 tsp - garlic paste
1 tsp - ginger paste
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp - amchur powder
3 tbsp - khuskhus
1 tsp - lemon juice
salt to taste
