Method
- Grind khuskhus to a fine powder without adding water.
- Soak almonds and cashewnuts for 2 hours and grind to a paste adding little water.
- Wash pudina leaves and green chilli and grind to a paste.
- Cut paneer to half inch cubes and soak in hot water for half an hour covered.
- Heat oil in a kadai and saute onion pieces till light brown. Keep the flame on low to medium.
- Add garlic paste and saute for a minute.
- Add ginger paste and saute for half a minute.
- Add red chilli powder, amchur powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add cashew and almond paste. Mix well.
- Also add khuskhus paste and mix well.
- Add curds and saute for a minute.
- Add pudina and green chillies paste and saute for a minute.
- Add salt to taste.
- Now add paneer pieces and cook covered for two minutes.
- Put off the flame and add lemon juice just before serving.
- Eat this curry with rotis or puris.
