Tofu Pista Curry

Method
  1. Boil onion and pista with little water.
  2. Grind and make a thick paste of green chilly, ginger, garlic, coriander powder, white pepper, coriander leaves, boiled onion, pista and salt.
  3. Cook the masala in oil for 5 mins till the raw smell goes.
  4. Put the sliced Tofu in the masala and cook for 3 mins.
  5. When the tofu is done, add milk to it and cook for 2 mins.
  6. If you want thin gravy, add more milk.

Note:
This goes well with Chappathi and Fried rice.
You can also do this with microwave oven.

Ingredients:
firm tofu - 15 oz
onion - 2
pista - 200 gm
oil - 3 tbsp
milk - 250 ml

For Masala:
green chilly - 4
ginger - 2"
garlic - 5
coriander powder - 2 tsp
white pepper - 1 tsp
coriander leaves - little
salt to taste
