Drumstick Leaves Dry Curry

Method
  1. Dry fry the red chillis, til, jeera, coconut powder each saperately
  2. Make a coarse powder, keep aside
  3. Boil drumstick leaves with some salt and turmeric
  4. Drain, squeeze out the water if necessary (do not mash).
  5. Cook tur dal till it is soft but not mashed
  6. Combine leaves & dal gently, keep aside.
  7. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, crushed garlic
  8. Fry till the seeds splutter
  9. Add onion, green chilli and fry for 2 min till the onion changes colour
  10. Add boiled leaves & dal
  11. Mix salt, stir well, and cook covered for 2 min
  12. Remove lid and sprinkle the masala powder
  13. Mix well and remove.
Ingredients:
200 g - tender drumstick leaves
100 g - tur dal
1 - onion, medium, cut into small pieces
3 - green chilli, cut into small pieces
4 - red chilli
1 tbsp - til
1 tsp - dhania seeds
1/2 tsp - jeera
1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
10 - curry leaves
6 - garlic cloves,crushed
1 tbsp - dry coconut powder
1/8 tsp - turmeric
salt
1 tbsp - oil
