Method
- Firstly boil the lentils in pressure cooker for about 10 min (3 whistles at the most)
- Heat oil in a kadai, roast jeera until it turns brown.
- Add onions and garlic; fry until the onions turn brown.
- Add tomato, fry until the tomato starts to liquify.
- To this, add the cooked dal, chilli powder and tumeric.
- Let it remain on heat for about 5 min.
- Your dal fry is now ready to serve with rotis or rice.

2 cups - lentils (tot dal)
2 - large onions
1 tsp - Jeera
2 tsp - oil
1 - tomato
1 tsp - chilli powder
1sp - tumeric powder
1 clove - garlic
