Almond fudge

Method
  1. Make a paste of 3/4th cup of almonds.
  2. Cut the remaining 1/4th cup almonds into long strips and keep aside.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan and add the almond paste, milk, sugar, condensed milk, vanilla essence and cardamom powder and keep adding ghee little by little until a thick consistency is formed.
  4. When the mixture is well cooked and becomes thick and leaves the sides of the pan, pour it in a greased tray and let it cool.
  5. After it cools down thoroughly, sprinkle the remaining almond strips on top and press well with a spatula. Cut into thick square pieces and serve.

1 cup almonds
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp pure ghee
1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
