Badam ki phirni

Method
  1. Soak pista and almond in hot water for 5 mins.
  2. Drain, peel and cut pista into thin strips.
  3. Cruch almond into small pieces.
  4. Soak rice for half an hour.
  5. Drain and grind to a smooth paste.
  6. Dilute in 1/2 cup water.
  7. Boil milk, lower heat, add rice paste and cook for 8 mins till it is thick.
  8. Add jaggery, cashew and cardamom powder. Lower heat and cook till jaggery is dissolved.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Serve garnished with pista and chilled.

3 cups - milk
1/4 cup rice
6 - cashew nuts
6 - pista
8 - almonds
5 tbsp - jaggery
1/2 tsp - cardamom powder
