Method
- Combine custard powder and sugar with some cold milk.
- Boil rest of the milk.
- When it comes to a boil add the custard and sugar in boiling milk.
- Mash flesh of melon well and keep aside.
- Add butter to boiled milk, when it cools a little pour in ice tray and refrigerate.
- When set, remove from fridge, beat well with an egg beater, add mashed melon and mix well now add essence too.
- Mix well pour in ice trays and refrigerate to settle.
- Once set, the icecream is ready.
- Decorate with nuts.
Ingredients:
1 - medium sized melon
1 1/2 litre - milk
3/4 cup - sugar
1 small packet - custard powder
1/2 cup - butter or cream
