  1. Mix the sugar, milk and cornstarch together in a non-stick thick bottom saucepan.
  2. Add the milk gradually, whisking lightly.
  3. Cook over medium heat until it thickens.
  4. Add the vanilla and butter - stir and cool to set.
  5. Serve warm or cold after garnishing with a berry/choco/caramel sauce of your choice and chopped/slit berries or mint leaves.
  6. For more drama - play with colours!
