Groundnut kheer

Method
  1. Grind ground nuts along with almonds and little milk to a course paste, keep it aside.
  2. Boil and reduce milk to 1/2 lit, add sugar and let it simmer till sugar dissolves.
  3. Add nut paste,lightly fried khoya and mix well. Let it cook under sim till the kheer becomes a little thick.
  4. Add cashew, raisins and elachi powder. Mix well and remove.
  5. Serve chilled/warm .

Note:

Ground nuts: Dry fried, husk removed and soak in water for 1/2hr

Almonds: Soaked in water and outer peel removed

Raisins: Fried in a tsp of ghee along with cashew

Ingredients:
1 liter whole milk
100gms sugar
50 gms ground nuts
1 tsp elachi powder
6 almonds
50 gms khoya
1 tbsp cashew pieces
1 tbsp raisins
