Method
  1. Soak dal for 4-5 hours.
  2. Grind with green chilli; add coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Boil water in a pan and add suji.
  4. Make a smooth, chapathi-like dough; cool it.
  5. Make small balls of the dough and roll out into thin chapathis with a rolling pin.
  6. If there is difficulty in rolling, roll on a plastic sheet.
  7. Take the paste of chana dal and place on the chapathi.
  8. Roll the chapathi from both sides to make a tight roll.
  9. Seal both corners; 3-4 rolls can be made.
  10. Steam all the rolls.
  11. When the dal is cooked and hard it means it is done.
  12. Cool, cut into slices and serve.
  13. Cut into small pieces.
  14. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  15. When seeds crackle, add curry leaves and green chilli.
  16. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
  17. Now add the sliced rolls and mix well.
  18. Cover and cook for 2-3 mintutes.
  19. It looks like boiled and sliced egg.
  20. Serve with green chutney or sauce.
Ingredients:
1 cup - suji rawa
1 cup - chana dal (Bengal gram)
1&1/2 cup - water
1 tbsp - ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder Coriander leave
2-5 - green chilli, for tempering
2-3 sprigs - curry leaves
1 tbsp - mustard seeds
2 tbsp - oil
Salt to taste
