Phulkapir Dalna (Cauliflower Dalna)

Method
  1. Cut cauliflower into flowerets. Deep fry in oil till golden. Drain and reserve.
  2. Peel baby potatoes. Deep fry till golden. Drain and reserve.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a kadai.
  4. Add bay leaves and all the ingredients till green chillies. Fry for few seconds.
  5. Add green peas, cauliflower and potatoes.
  6. Mix curds with 1 cup of water and add. Add salt and sugar.
  7. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Mix in the garam masala and optional ghee.

Serves:4 to 6

Ingredients:
cauliflower - 500 gm
baby potatoes - 250 gm
oil to deep fry
bay leaves - 2
chilli powder - 1 tsp or to taste
turmeric powder - � tsp
cumin powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 2 tsp
green chillies - 3, slit
green peas - � cup, par boiled
curds - � cup
salt to taste
sugar - 1 tsp
garam masala - 1 tsp
ghee - 2 tsp, optional
