Bread sandwich with marinara and veggies

Method
  1. Heat a skillet and add oil.
  2. When oil is heated through, add the veggies.
  3. Saute on high heat.
  4. Veggies don`t have to be overcooked.
  5. While they are still crisp, add the garlic, ginger, marinara sauce, pepper and salt.
  6. Mix them well and let them cook for about 5 minutes.
  7. See to that the sauce doesn`t stick to the bottom of the pan.
  8. For a final touch, add the Italian seasoning and some parsley or cilantro. Now, lightly toast the bread with butter or oil and start filling one slice of bread with the marinara sauce mixture.
  9. Spread it and top it with another slice of bread and press both the slices to make a nice and tasty sandwich.
  10. Turn once or twice to let the sides brown a little.
  11. Do the same with the rest of the bread slices.
  12. The same could be done on a sandwich maker.
  13. It`s quick and easy.
  14. This sandwich is good eaten plain or with any kind of sauce. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
8-10 slices of bread
1-1&1/2 cups of marinara sauce (either home made or store bought)
1/2 tsp garlic paste(optional)
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp pepper powder (people who like spicy food can add chilli powder instead)
1 cup of veggies (mushroom, green peppers, zucchini, cabbage etc, could be shredded or diced)
Oil to saute (olive oil can be used)
A little bit of Italian seasoning (optional)
Some parsley or cilantro
Butter or oil to toast bread
