Quick Capsicum Rice

Method
  1. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the strips of capsicum.
  2. Once done take it out and keep aside.
  3. In the same oil, add finely chopped onions and fry till it becomes slightly brown.
  4. Then add the chopped tomatoes and all the powders (garam masala, coriander powder and cumin powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder).
  5. Add the fried capsicum and fry for a minute with all the above ingredients.
  6. Then add in the cooked rice and mix well till the rice is well coated with the masala, adding salt a per taste.
  7. Serve hot with raitha.
Ingredients:
2 cups - rice, cooked
2 - medium size capsicums, cut into strips
1 - small onion finely chopped
1 - small tomato finely chopped
a pinch - garam masala
a pinch - coriander powder
a pinch - cumin powder
a pinch - turmeric powder
a pinch - red chilli powder
oil for frying
salt to taste
