Strawberry chocolate tiramisu
Method
- Dissolve the gelatin in water until swollen and melt over a double boiler.
- Fold in the mascarpone cream and whipping cream. Add in sugar. Mix in the chopped strawberries, put in a large bowl, and refrigerate for an hour to set.
- Line the base of four glasses or cups with sponge fingers and drizzle over with the coffee syrup. Put scoops of the mascarpone mixture over it.
- Garnish with sliced strawberries and amaretti biscuits and serve chilled.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. gelatin
250 gms. mascarpone
4 tbsp. cream
200 gms. whipping cream
150 gms. strawberries, half chopped and half sliced
100 gms. sponge fingers (or use amaretti biscuits)
4 tbsp. coffee syrup
4 amaretti biscuits (optional)
