  1. Take 4 skewers and thread 2 paneer cubes, 2 pineapple slices, 1 red and 1 green capsicum squares and 2 button mushrooms, one after the other decoratively.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the malai sauce and pour over the skewered vegetables . Keep aside for 5 mins.
  3. Roast in a tandoor or rotate under a hot grill basting with the oil and sauce frequently for 5-7 mins. till the sides look like a little charred.Serve at once with a salad.
  4. Prawns may be used in place of paneer.
8 cubes of paneer
8 pieces of pineapple
4 square pieces of green capsicum
8 button mushrooms
1 tbsp oil

For the malai sauce:

1/2 cup cream
2 cubes of cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp capsico sauce
1 tsp lime juice
1 tbsp ready made mustard
