Method
Fry the rice and green gram dhal separately in a kadai without any oil, till they turn light brown in colour.
In a pressure cooker,add the fried rice and dhal and four cups of water along with salt.
Pressure cook upto 2-3 whistles.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Add mustard seeds and allow to splutter, add asafoetida along with red chillies, curry leaves.
Add cooked rice and dhal mix, into the kadai and then add grated coconut and fry for a min.
Serve hot.

1&1/2 cups - raw rice
