Barfila dahi falohwala salad

Method
  1. Heat milk and thicken till 3/4th its quantity. Cool. When lukewarm, add sugar, yoghurt and vanilla essence.
  2. Arrange chopped fruit in a bowl and pour cooled yoghurt mixture over. Leave to set in a warm place for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. When set, chill till needed.
  4. Serve very cold, with a sprinkling of finely crushed ice all over.
Ingredients:
1 litre milk
2 tbsp. yoghurt
1/2 tsp. vanilla essence
2 pears, peeled, chopped, sprinkled with lemon juice
1 apple, peeled, chopped, sprinkled with lemon juice
Sugar to taste
