Method
- Wash all the vegetables thoroughly.
- Chop tomatoes and cucumber into medium-sized pieces. Place in a glass bowl.
- Tear lettuce leaves into pieces with hands and add to the bowl.
- Add walnuts.
- Cut halloumi cheese into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add red chilli powder and herbs; add halloumi immediately.
- Saute for 3-4 mins and add this to the bowl. Add lemon juice.
- Mix everything well with a wooden spoon.
- Do not add salt as haloumi cheese is quite salty.
- You can replace haloumi with paneer, but then add some salt.
