Wheat flour adai

Method
  1. Chop the onions finely.
  2. Add the chopped onions, turmeric, sambhar powder, salt, curry leaves to the flour and mix well.
  3. Add water (for me it consumed 1/2 cup plus little more) and make a smooth dough.
  4. Divide into six equal sized balls.
  5. Place a polythene film/plastic sheet over a platform and grease it with a few drops of oil.
  6. Flatten the dough ball with hands into a little bit thicker than roti.
  7. Heat a flat pan, drizzle with oil and toast the adai on both the sides over a medium flame till golden brown spot appear.
  8. Serve hot with raitha of your choice.

1&1/2 cups - wheat flour
1 - onion, big sized
1 & 1/2 tsp - sambhar powder
1/4 tsp - turmeric
1 sprig - curry leaves
1 tsp - salt
Water as needed
1 tsp - jeera/cumin (optional)
