Method
Grind all the ingredients except cabbage and onion ,keep aside.
In a pan add oil , onion and cabbage add a very little water (otherwise it will become soggy and sticky)
Increase the flame dry the vegetable completely now put off the fire ,add the powder you make.Stir until mixed together.
This make a wonderful side dish for rasam rice excellent for diabetic people.
They can eat this as it is even with out any rice.

1 - onion finely chopped
turmeric 1pinch
roasted gram dal( pottu kadalai) 1/2 cup
red chillies 2
asafoetida 1 pinch
garlic 6to 7 cloves
saunf 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
oil 1 tespoon
