Tangy tomato gravy (Tomato Iguru)

Method
  1. Chop the onion and tomatoes finely.
  2. Cut the green chillies lengthwise.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add the green chillies and saute for a min.
  4. Add the sprig leaves, next add the chopped onions along with little salt and turmeric powder. Saute them well.
  5. Grind the ingredients listed under that section.
  6. Now add the ground paste and saute until the raw smell is gone.
  7. Finally add the chopped tomatoes and allow it to cook on a low flame.
  8. This gravy is thick in consistency, if needed you can also add a cup of water and bring it to boil.

Ingredients:
2 onions
5 ripened tomatoes
A sprig of curry leaves
1/2 tsp. of turmeric powder
2/3 green chillies
1/4 cup of oil
Salt

For grinding:
2 tsp aniseed
1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds 6 garlic pods
1 chilli powder
