Capsicum onion gravy

Method
  1. Heat oil, fry cardamom, karn phool and cinnamon lightly.
  2. Allow to cool and powder.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry red chillies.
  4. Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile boil tomatoes in 2 cups of water.
  6. When it boils, discard the water, cool the tomatoes and peel off.
  7. Now add chopped capsicum and fry, then add salt.
  8. Cool and grind it into a paste.
  9. Grind boiled tomotoes separately.
  10. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds (optional), curry leaves, onion capsicum paste.
  11. After 5 minutes add ground tomato.
  12. Add ground spices and a pinch of sugar and cook for five more minutes.
  13. Very delicious with puris, dosas and rotis.
Ingredients:
2 - capsicum (green pepper), large
2 - onion, big
3 - tomato
1 - cinnamon, small piece
2 - cardamom
1 - karnphool (small)
1 tbsp - oil
Salt
3 - red chilli
8-10 - curry leaves
