Bread Masala Toast

Method
  1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker.
  2. When cool, keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add the curry leaves. Stir.
  5. Now add the finely chopped onions and green chillies and saute well.
  6. When the onion becomes brown in colour, add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.
  7. Add the masala powder and saute well.
  8. Add the tomatoes and saute till the oil separates.
  9. Add the mashed potatoes into this and saute.
  10. Sprinkle some water to make the paste loose.
  11. Now add coriander leaves and put off the fire.
  12. Take the bread slices and toast it lightly in a toaster or a pan.
  13. Take the toasted slice.
  14. Spread the masala using a cheese spread evenly on the bread slice thickly or thinly as per your taste.
  15. Now keep another slice over this masala coated bread slice and seal the sides.
  16. Take a small wicker basket and spread a check cloth in it.
  17. Keep the bread slices filled with the masala inside it.
  18. You can decorate by keeping sliced vegetables, cherries etc.
Ingredients:
10 - bread slices
2 medium - onion
1 big - tomato
3 big - potatoes
15 - curry leaves
Coriander leaves, according to taste
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
1/2 tsp - chilli powder
2 tbsp - masala powder (garam masala/channa masala)
5 - green chillies
Oil for frying
