Poornam Kozhakattai on Microwave

Method
  1. Put Part II ingredients in a microwaveable bowl and micro on high for 2 mins.
  2. If you find it watery, microwave it for 1 more minute.
  3. In another microwave dish, mix Part I ingredients well until it forms a dosa consistency dough and microwave it in a open bowl for 2 mins.
  4. In between, stir it. Allow it to cool and blend it in a mixer using soft blade. Blend it until it forms a smooth ball.
  5. Now stuff the pooran into the shells made out of rice flour dough and shape into kozhakattai.
  6. Steam it in the microwave in a idli plate for 2 mins.
  7. Before steaming the kozhakattai, dip it in water.
  8. Also after 1 min, sprinkle little water over it to prevent it from breaking.
Ingredients:
Part - I:
1 cup - rice flour
1 tbsp - oil
salt to taste

Part - II:
1.5 cup - jaggery
2 cups - fresh grated coconut
