Method
  1. Heat one tbsp of ghee in a glass microwave bowl for 3 mins on high power.
  2. Add jeera, hing, red chilli and cook for another 2 mins on high.
  3. Add haldi and 1 tbsp jeera-dhaniya powder (mix well into the ghee) and cook for another 2 mins.
  4. Add diced pumpkin and potato pieces, mix well into masala, cook for 8 minutes.
  5. Add salt, mix thoroughly and cook another 8 mins.
  6. Garnish with sliced green chillies and coriander leaves.
  7. It is delicious with hot rotis.

Note: This is a popular vegetarian Bengali dish.

1 tsp - ghee
jeera
hing
red chilli
haldi
1 tbsp - jeera dhaniya powder
salt to taste
green chillies
coriander leaves
