Method
  1. Put the ghee into a largish microwave-safe, flat-bottomed dish. Microwave at 100% power for 3 minutes.
  2. While the ghee is warming, dry roast the semolina flour in a kadai.
  3. Keep tossing and stirring till it is golden brown and aromatic.
  4. Simultaneously put the sugar, saffron and water n a pan and bring to boil.
  5. Once the ghee is heated, add the roasted semolina and flour, stir and cook at the same power level for 1 minute.
  6. Now take the dish out of the microwave, stirring constantly, pour in the sugar syrup.
  7. Keep the dish in the microwave and cook for 4 minutes, uncovered, stirring after every minute.
  8. Stand 2 minutes before serving into a pouring dish and garnishing with sliced almonds.
Ingredients:
1 cup (minus 2 tbsp) - semolina
2 tbsp - wheat flour
1 cup - sugar or more as per later
3 cups - water
� cup - ghee
a few - strands saffron
10 to 12 - almonds (finely sliced)
