Paneer carrot paratha

To make paratha stuffing:

  1. Grate the carrots and finely chop the onions.
  2. Put the paneer in hot water for 10 mins.
  3. Drain the water and crumble them with hands.
  4. Cut the green chilly into fine pieces.
  5. Chop the coriander leaves also.
  6. In a kadai, add a tsp of oil and put the cumin.
  7. Then add the green chilli, onions, carrots and the crumbled panner.
  8. Saute for 3-5 mins.
  9. Add the turmeric powder,salt as needed and finally add the chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Allow the mixture to cool.
  11. Add the lemon juice to it and mix well.

To make paratha:

  1. Knead the wheat flour into a soft pilable dough.
  2. Take a big lemon-sized ball of the dough, roll it into a small circle.
  3. Place the stuffing on that circle.
  4. Close the circle like this.
  5. Roll it carefully into thick parathas.
  6. If you want your parathas to be big and thin, roll till you get the desired shape.
  7. Heat the tawa and put the paratha on it and do in the same way as you do for chapatis.
  8. Drizzle oil on top of it and cook till golden brown.

2 cups - wheat flour
1 - carrot, grated
5-7 - paneer cubes
1 big - onion
2 - green chillies
Coriander leaves, a few
1/2 tsp - cumin
2 tsp - lemon juice
Turmeric powder, a pinch
Water to knead as needed
