Method
  1. Grind in a mixer garlic, cumin, black pepper, tomato and turmeric powder; keep aside.
  2. Pour water in a pan and add tamarind; boil for a few minutes and then add above ground ingredients.
  3. Add salt, coriander and curry leaves.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai; season by adding mustard and red chillies.
  5. Serve hot with steaming rice.
Ingredients:
Tamarind, a small ball
5 pods - garlic
1 tsp - cumin
1/2 tsp - black pepper
1 - tomato
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
250 ml - water
1 tsp - oil
1/2 tsp - mustard
1 or 2 - red chillies
