Vegetable soup

Method
  1. In a thick pan, melt butter and add the garlic and onion.
  2. When the onion is transparent, add all the vegetables, salt and 2 cups of water.
  3. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
  4. Cook till the vegetables are cooked but not over cooked.
  5. Puree in a mixer, adjust seasoning and consistency, add pepper powder.
  6. Add croutons and serve.
Ingredients:
50 gms red pumpkin
50 gms lauki
8-10 leaves spinach
2 tomato
1 small potato
1/2 cup green pea, shelled
1/2 cup cabbage, chopped
1 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp sprouts
2-3 cloves garlic
1 tsp butter
1/2 tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
A pinch sugar
A few croutons
