Grind garlic, green chillies, elachi, clove, cinnamon in a mixie into a paste.
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard.
After it splatters, addthe cut onion and a pinch of salt and saute in low flame, till theonion becomes transparent.
Add the vegetables and saute. and add the turmeric powder.
Add the tomatoes, increase the flame and saute for 2 more minutes.
Add the ground masala and saute till the raw smell of the garlicgoes.
Add 2-1/2 cups of water and allow it to boil.
Add the rawa, mix well, reduce the flame and keep it closed with alid for 5 minutes.
Take it off from the stove, garnish with a tablespoonful of ghee,coriander leaves, curry leaves
Serve hot for a better taste.
As an alternative to 2 1/2 cups of water, you can add 1 cup of coconut juice (coconut milk) and 1-1/2 cup of water.
