Traditional Tomato Bhath

Method
  1. Roast rava till the raw smell is lost (Do not brown).
  2. Heat ghee; season with mustard. cloves, cinnamon, green chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Add onion and fry till soft (not coloured).
  4. Add 2 � cup of water, turmeric, salt and ginger and tomato.
  5. When the water boils, reduced the flame and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add rawa. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
rava - 1 cup
chopped tomato - � cup
chopped onion - � cup
ghee - 1/3 cup
mustard - 1 tsp
cloves - 2
cinnamon - 2
slit green chilies - 4
chopped ginger pieces
curry leaves - few
turmeric powder - � tsp
salt to taste
