Sweet vegetable soup

Method
  1. Heat 1 tsp. oil.
  2. Gently fry cloves, cinnamon and coconut till golden. Remove. Reserve.
  3. Roast the flour in the same pan.
  4. Grind both with enough water to make a thick paste. Reserve.
  5. Heat remaining oil.
  6. Add onion and green chillies.
  7. Fry till golden.
  8. Add peas, potatoes, sugar, salt and tomatoes.
  9. Stir till tomatoes are soft.
  10. Add liquidized paste and enough water to make a thick gravy.
  11. Simmer and garnish with coriander leaves.
  12. Serve with bread.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp. grated fresh coconut
3 cloves
3 stick cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour (maida)
1 cup peas, boiled
2 potatoes, boiled, peeled, cubed
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
3 green chillies, chopped
2 onions, chopped
2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste
