Coconut Dosa and Onion Chutney

Method

  1. Soak Rice in water for about half an hour.

  2. Grind Coconut and rice together in fine medium thin paste (thinner than our Sada Dosa).

  3. Put little salt just to remove the sourness of rice.

  4. Heat nonstick pan. Then pour the dough from top just as to get small holes in Dosas.

  5. Remove the Dosa from pan as required (crispy or soft).

  6. Serve hot.

  1. Grind coconut, red Chillies and tamarind together in thick paste with little water.

  2. Put the finely chopped Onion in the coconut paste with little salt. Mix properly all the ingredients.

  3. Serve this Chutney with the Coconut Dosa described above.

Ingredients:
3 Cups Rice
2 Cups fresh Coconut finely scrapped
A pinch of Salt

Onion Chutney

Ingredients

1 medium Onion.
1 cup fresh Coconut scrapped.
4-5 Red Whole Chillies ( 5-6 if required spicy)
Little Tamarind
Salt as per taste.
