Method
- Wash dal and rice in water for 3-4 hours.
- Drain the water and grind both together in a mixer.
- Grind the chilies and ginger.
- Add this to dal paste. mix well.
- Keep in a hot place for about 7-8 hours to allow to ferment.
- Mix vigorously and prepare dosas on a non-stick tawa.
- Serve with chutney and hot sambhar.

4 cups - moong dal
4 tbsp - rice
2 inch - ginger
4 - chillies
salt to taste
