Method
- Mix together phudina leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ajawin and cumin seeds.
- Add this mixture to the wheat flour along with salt and oil.
- Mix well. Add sufficient water to make a semi soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions.
- Smoothen each portion.
- Dip into flour and roll it out like a thick roti.
- Pre-heat the tawa, rub the tawa with little ghee.
- Roast the parathas on a medium flame till golden.
- Apply 1 tsp ghee when flipping sides.
- Serve hot with different raitas and mango pickle
Note: All parathas can be served with a dollop of butter on them.
