Method
Chop onion and tomato into fine pieces.
Heat oil, temper urad dal
Fry the onion till it turns a little brown and add garlic, pepper, green chilli and red chilli.
Add tomato and fry for 3 minutes.
Add tamarind, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Add salt and fry well for another 2 minutes.
Cool and grind the mixture into a fine paste.
Heat a little oil and fry the mixture for 2 minutes.
Now it is ready to serve with dosa, chappathi or plain hot rice.

9 pods - garlic
1/2 tsp - pepper
