Method
- Soak badam in hot water for ten min.
- Now peel the outer brown skin off and grind the badam finely (extremely fine) adding few drops of water to it and keep it aside. Now boil the milk along with sugar in a sim flame for fifteen min so that the milk becomes slightly thick.
- Finally, add the ground badam paste to the milk and mix well and let it boil for another five min.
- Once done add the food color to it and blend well.
- Badam kheer is done.
- Decorate it with some badam scrappings and saffron if available.
- You can serve it either hot or cold. Badam kheer is yummy either ways. This quantity will suffice 4 such glasses.
