Method
- Wash and soak in water for 5 hours.
- Drain the water and grind to a paste alongwith chillies.
- Mix in the rest of the above ingredients.
- Heat enough oil and deep fry to smoking lower heat and drop the paste with the help of a teaspoon in the oil and deep fry to a golden brown colour.
- Drain nicely and serve hot with chutney of your choice.

2 - green chillies
6 - coarsely pounded peppercorns
1" piece - ginger
a few curry leaves, sliced
salt according to taste
