Method-
Combine the rice flour, besan, red chilli powder, ajwain seeds, salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder and butter in a wide bowl and mix very well.
- Make a soft dough by adding the water little by little.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- Take a small portion of dough and fill in the murukku / chakli press.
- With your hands, press the murukku press over the hot oil.
- Deep fry the dough chakli until golden color on both sides.
- Remove from the oil and store in a airtight container. Serve as a snack.
