Method
  1. Soak the rice for one hour.
  2. Drain the water and allow the rice to dry on a cloth for half an hour.
  3. Grind the rice in the blender.
  4. Fry the urad dal in the kadai for 5 minutes till the raw smell disappears.
  5. Grind it with pottukadalai.
  6. Mix all the flours with butter, hing, cumin seed and salt with water to make a dough (like chappathi)
  7. In the kadai heat oil.
  8. Use a presser to make the murukku and fry in the oil.
Ingredients:
2 cup - raw rice
1 cup - urad dal
1 cup - pottukadalai/fried gram
150g - dalda or butter
1 tsp - -cumin seed
a pinch hing
salt to taste
