Rice dumplings with blueberries and raisins

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with your fingers till fluffy.
  2. Heat oil for deep frying.
  3. Drop small portions of the batter at a time, turning once or twice.
  4. Fry the dumplings on low heat to medium heat till the dumplings begin to change colour.
  5. Wrap in a foil to keep warm.
  6. Carry as a snack while travelling.
2 cups rice batter - used to prepare idlis
60 gms blue berries
70 gms raisins
12-14 pepper corns
1 tbsp oil
2 pinches soda bicarb
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
