Method
  1. Roast maida.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and knead well.
  3. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 10 mins.
  4. Heat oil for fying.
  5. Roll out balls of dough just like rotis but a little thicker.
  6. Cut into diamond shapes and fry.
  7. Cool on a tissue paper and store in air tight containers.
  8. Goes well with coffee/tea.
Ingredients:
2 cups - maida
1 tbsp - red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp - cumin seeds
1 pinch - turmeric powder
1 pinch - asafoetida
2 tbsp - heated oil
Oil for frying
