Method
Wash rice and dal nicely and dry it thoroughly on a piece of cloth.
Grind in a mixer to a very fine powder.
Knead into a soft dough using butter, salt, l.g powder and water.
Heat oil in a deep pan and press chaklis into hot oil and fry till golden brown.
Remove on a paper napkin and store in an airtight container.
Serve as a tea time snack
