Cottage Cheese Kababs

Method
  1. Grind the grated paneer and cheese to a fine paste.
  2. Mix it with the elaichi, mace and clove powders, the peanut paste, browned garlic, browned onions and khus-khus.
  3. Add the salt and red chilli powder and incorporate well.
  4. Set aside for one hour.
  5. Shape into round patties.
  6. Grill on both sides evenly, on a tawa, using as little oil as possible, till done.
  7. Serve hot.
Ingredients:
200 gms - paneer, grated
50 gms - cheese, grated
10 gms - peanuts, roasted and ground to a paste
1 tsp - mace (javitri) powder
1 tsp - elaichi powder
1/2 - clove powder
20 gms - garlic, dry roasted till golden brown
20 gms - onions rings, deep fried till brown and crisp
10 gms - khus-khus
1/2 - red chilli powder
salt to taste
